That's exactly what Disrupt YVR exists for. 

Every year, Disrupt YVR gives a diverse group of speakers one challenge: change how the audience thinks—in just five minutes.

We're inviting bold thinkers to take the stage on Thursday, November 12 in downtown Vancouver to share one idea that challenges assumptions about the future of work. 

We're looking for speakers with a fresh perspective, a lesson learned the hard way, an experiment that changed everything, or an idea that deserves to be challenged. Whether your insight comes from leadership, HR, technology, culture, design, public service, education, or somewhere completely unexpected, if it has the potential to change how people think about work, we want to hear it.

THE LAND BENEATH THE CONVERSATION.

Disrupt YVR takes place on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səl̓ilwətaɁɬ / sel̓íl̓witulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.

We gather here to challenge assumptions, exchange ideas, and imagine what could be different. That work also asks us to understand the land we gather on, its history, and our responsibilities to the people who have stewarded it since time immemorial.
